Estimate the defined-benefit pension using an average monthly high-36 basic-pay amount. The BRS pension multiplier is 2.0% per creditable year; the High-36 multiplier is 2.5%.
This simplified active-duty estimate excludes TSP value, continuation pay, lump-sum elections, Reserve retirement points, REDUX, disability retirement and future COLA adjustments.
